Minecraft Console Edition is set to receive a brand new Chinese Mythology themed “Mash-Up” pack. Ancient cities, the great wall, massive mountains, Chinese dragons, cherry blossoms and hidden areas are just some of the things that will be featured in the Mash-Up pack!
The Mash-Up pack will feature 41 new skins, 13 themed music tracks and a special map that will be available for the Battle mini-game that was released in June this year. You could even build your own version of the massive Chinese bridge that was featured in our 10 coolest Minecraft bridges article.
The Chinese Mythology Mash-Up will be available for $4.99 and is set to release in two weeks time on October 5.
Also on October 5, all Console Editions will receive a FREE game update that should have fans excited, as some long requested features will be included, such as:
- Polar bears and their babies roaming the frozen biomes
- Beetroots that can be farmed and turned into beetroot soup
- Banners to decorate your house with
- Igloos that can be used as shelter in the harsh Arctic biomes
- Long lost fossils buried underground, as well as new village paths and materials.
- All new blocks: End Bricks, Beetroot, Grass Path, Frosted Ice, Magma, Nether Wart Block, Red Nether Brick and Bone Block.
The new free update and Chinese Mythology Mash-Up will be available for all Minecraft Console Editions on October 5.
