Where to Find the Song of Nostalgia Location in SMT V for Kinmamon

The Song of Nostalgia quest has Kinmamon ask you to find a song that is familiar to him. The first tricky part of this quest is finding someone who actually knows the song. For this part, you need to leave the Da’at Netherworld and Shinagawa in general and head back to the main Tokyo world.

Once you get here, you need to head into the overworld, where you are the little cursor. There is no map here, unlike the rest of the game, so simply head to the NPC in the screenshot above. Speak with that female student, and she will tell you about the original song from Okinawa, Japan.

Song of Nostalgia Quest Answers in SMT V Vengeance

Once you find out the lyric answers to Kinmamon’s song in the Song of Nostalgia SMT V Vengeance quest, it is now time to return to him. Go back to the Fairy Village and speak with him. This is where the second part of the quest begins. He will now basically quiz you on the Okinawan song.

You have to fill in the blanks of the parts of the song Kinmamon has forgotten. To help you out, here are the full, correct lyrics of the song so you can answer his questions correctly:

  • On the seashore, where children dance and play
  • The gajumaru trees soar high in the sky
  • On the wood fishing boat returned from the sea
  • Is that a big parrotfish that I see over there?
  • On days like this, so joyous
  • Let us play our merry song
  • Everyone enjoy the sanshin’s gentle melody

Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance is now available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
