The core of beating Agrat and any other main boss you find in this JRPG is to take advantage of the weakness. The weakness is at the heart of the Press Turn system and allows you to earn extra turns if you hit that weak point.

With the Agrat weaknesses and resistances in mind in SMTV Vengeance, it is now possible to jump in there and take on this fight. The goal here is to use as many electric skills as possible as the Zio family to gain some extra turns. The problem is Agrat is a master of magic. She is able to use almost all of the elemental skills. As such, you want to avoid having any weaknesses in fire and ice.
More importantly, she is able to heal herself, which can make her fight a bit annoying. If that isn’t enough, even if you have resistance to fire and ice, she has Queen’s Decree. This is a highly powerful Almighty attack, which will deal massive damage to random members of your party. You will want to heal up well to survive.
