A simple resouce pack, but with a more than needed quality of life addition, having also its own fresh animation addon.
Now spiders and cave spiders will be able to climb up walls and lay under blocks when they get stuck, making it seem more of an intentional behaveour than the result of stupid pathfindings.
There are 2 versions of this, one for both optifine and EMF, and one specifically for EMF, the last one being more precise because it uses the "is_climbing" instead of "is_on_ground" function to operate.
Speaking of which, because of the feedback given by the download count, the fresh wall climbers will only be for EMF, like look at this!
Just try it out, its really cool!

Sure if you want, just credit if you take the models without changing them. I'd recommend you to use blockbench if you're not already using it to modify animations, as it has extremely useful examples and documentation about how to do this kind of stuff. I personally am not the best at animating with cem, but you can look at what packs like fresh animations do to understand some stuff, I learned this way. Also there's difference between what is on blockbench and what can be don, as blockbench take in consideration only optifine and EMF has some more things, letting you animate more precisely, like I did in my 2 versions of the pack: the EMF checks for a climbing spider, the optifine one checks for a spider not on ground with a certain velocity
I also agree there are not enough cem tutorials, besides the 2/3 made by Howell
