Greetings Planet Minecraft! I'm redstonecreeper8, and today I'm presenting my first upload to PMC: the resource pack I've been working on. I've kept it quite hidden away for the many months it's taken to create, and while not all textures are completed, I thought now would be a good time to let it see the light of day so I can get some feedback.
  The pack started out as a way for me to alter the specific textures that I just couldn't tolerate, but soon I realized how many textures out there could look a lot cooler and more personalized, to I decided to go all-out and make a full pack. (It's themed around vanilla, so fortunately nothing should be unrecognizable.) The idea was to make each texture cleaner/smoother and easier on your eyes. For example diorite is less noisy, so the polished version now can be used as, for example, marble bricks. Wood is a little smoother and less saturated and it has a plank pattern instead of endless horizontal rows. Cobblestone is noticeably more orderly, and so on and so forth.
  There are also changes based on preference; for example, zombies look more scary, tamed wolves look like dogs, the hunger bar now is represented by steaks, and the health bar is green. (Not to mention the completely redone GUI and numerous easter eggs :p) So, if you're interested, consider giving it a download and leaving a comment on what you think.
