I mentioned it briefly in my video update #4, and even showed the viewers a little of it, but I have decided I now have enough of a baseline to release the first version of my texturepack!
This is the Delta Rustic Pack, a 16x16 texturepack designed to bring out rustic shades and old fashioned designs while staying true to Minecraft's pixelated and simplistic nature.
_____
(v1.2) Ah, the sweet smell of progress! The survival experience is really coming together, with highly needed additions such as potato and carrot crops and items, zombies and skeletons, and even a full set of music discs for a fancy new jukebox! I also have for you the first of the custom doors (Oak, spruce and iron) including both trapdoors, and chainmail armour items have been added. Bear in mind that there is still no custom model for chainmail armour as yet, and the item trim colour (currently lime green) is subject to change, so feel free to make suggestions!
(v1.1) There are a great deal of block and item textures so far, and a couple of entities, although I'm still an early hand at more complex models. So far I'm targeting textures in the order the player is likely to encounter them in Survival. In the latest update I focused on crafting materials, foodstuffs, mob drops and secondary tools.
_____
I have plans for many more textures to come in future updates and I will continue to update the pack file here if people like the style.
Speaking of, if you like the texturepack or have any suggestions or other feedback, please post it in the comments below! All feedback is good feedback, and as this is my first publicly released texturepack (not the first I've ever made though...) I really want to know what the community thinks of it.
Happy Minecrafting!

Also, can't be sure but you might have to quit and restart Minecraft for the pack to appear as an option in the resourcepacks menu.
Including a lot of new item textures covering more encounters in survival: mob drops, farming supplies, foodstuffs, more tools, etc. Stay posted!
Basically, you might need to move all the pack data one folder up. Check through and make sure the order is ".minecraft > resourcepacks > Axle's Delta Rustic Pack > assets, pack, meta, etc..."
If that doesn't work, then I'm afraid I'm not sure what would cause the game to not recognize the pack. The only thing I can think that would cause that is using an older version of minecraft (1.8 or older) which doesn't recognize "pack format : 2" in the mcmeta file.
