A few days ago, I noticed a discontinued Black Ops 2 texture pack for 1.4.7, so I thought, "Hey, I might want to do something like that." So I asked the creator (Crunter) if I could continue it, and he replied telling me I could (Second picture above for proof.)
Important!: You will need either Optifine or MCPatcher if you want Random Mobs and such to be enabled!

and when you are done will it look similar to default or will it lokk sort of different?
Step 1: Copy the original zombie mob image and rename it to "zombie2" inside the mobs folder.
Step 2: Edit "zombie2" to what you want it to look like.
Step 3: If you have MCPatcher or Optifine enabled they will appear in different forms randomly.
