Aonite Shinwa: Immerse Yourself in a mythological journey. This server transforms your Minecraft experience into a captivating trip through a world inspired by the traditional Samurai and a touch of Japanese mythology. Packaging the experience into a Town Builder and RPG Setting.
Features a complete overhaul of vanilla Minecraft, introducing new mechanics, custom items, unique biomes, and legendary creatures inspired by Japanese folklore. Experience the thrill of Samurai combat, build traditional Japanese structures, and embark on quests that weave through ancient myths and legends.

Establish a Village, lay claim to the Lands before you and develop your skills from a Warrior to a Master Smith or Craftsman.

Take part in a dynamic RPG where you don't know if other players are online until you meet them.

Aonite Shinwa: Japanese Mythology Experience Minecraft Server


  1. Download OptiFine [Recommended], or use equivalent mods for Fabric [Doesn't work 100%] - 1.20.4 OptiFine Downloads
    I would recommend using a pre-made pack like the amazing Fabulously Optimized - Minecraft Modpacks - CurseForge (Just remove PolyTone, it breaks the colors)
  2. Join our Discord Server to take part in the Community.
  3. Open Minecraft with OptiFine (or equivalent), select Multiplayer and add the following: shinwa.aonite.live
  4. When joining, you will start in the Village of Ｅｉｓｈｏ which acts as the 'Hub'. You will receive a prompt to select an initial Profession. This significantly impacts which kind of skills you might level up quicker than others. All have their merits and perks. You can read up on them Professional Professions | Aon Servers (aonite.live).

    Around Ｅｉｓｈｏ there are several Villager Shops, these shops take Rare Items scattered across the Lands and fund your Village expansion.
      1. Earn enough Coins to eventually found your own Village. Expand from there!
      2. Exert Influence over a greater area, grouping multiple Villages into a Region!
    Use the Travel Winds to leave Ｅｉｓｈｏ and start your adventure. If you are with friends, make sure to /party
  5. Explore!

A couple more rebalance/tweak/QOL changes/general polish

  • Fixed/Re-implemented Voice Chat - this does not require the Mod Version. Just join and do /audio

  • Added Starting Tutorial, a bit confused about what to do when you first join. There is now a Tutorial NPC to guide you around Ｅｉｓｈｏ

  • Re-did keybindings.

Hotswap Item when hand is empty = Town Menu

Howswap Item when hand is holding = Skills Menu

  • Marketplace NPC added.

  • Lost Soul NPC added. Buy back your Lost Souls and hearts.

  • Temporarily disabled the Underworld

  • Clients from 1.20.4+ can now join.

  • Animals will now run away from you if in a Herd and you cause damage.

  • Removed some Enchants.

  • Enchants now use full-levels.

  • Inventory now drops fewer items on death. Each item now has a 15-30% chance to drop.

Would be nice if we didn't teleport to spawn on reconnecting.... since it costs alot of money to teleport

its already super hard if ur new, also just found out i lost ALL my items during blood moon event by mobs who spawn right next to u and 2shot you... its a bit extreme no?

its a really nice server but things like this ruin it alot

I wanted to see how much damage one of the enemies would do and I lost 6 hearts + bleeding in one hit (I had heavy iron armor). At least I managed to book it underground and wait it out. I feel that they should disable blood moons for players who are under a certain overall level as it is essentially a death trap for anyone new.



Also, for some reason I spawned on top of the tower when I first joined. Is anyone else experiencing that?

Thanks for the feedback! Both of these points have been addressed. Spawn works properly, doesn't cost anything to travel to, and the Blood Moons are less frequent. Spawned Yokai are further away, and levels are scaled appropriately.

A breakdown of changes will be released once Update #1 is complete.
