2021 Update
The map is essentially finished, and it is now being released. This map is being provided "as-is", since it is designed as a multiplayer map. There are a few posters and other items around the map that may not load, but in general everything works as it should. If you wish to see the map properly, visit us at play.tlaminecraft.com
Beach City
Hi all, this is an attempt to create a highly detailed recreation of Beach City from the animated show Steven Universe. It features all of the locations from the show that are located in Beach County, the area immediately surrounding Beach City. It's main purpose is to serve as a roleplay map for Steven Universe based roleplay on this server.
The map is still a work in progress, but it is very close to completion. Progress generally moves quite fast. View a live map here.
Resource Pack
This map uses a custom resource pack with many unique, original models. It is based on the vanilla minecraft resource pack, and keeps to the same visual theme.
Most changes are for architectural or detail items, but here are a few fun items I've added in:
Animated Greg's Van
Animated Lapis Lazuli Item
Animated Steven's Shield Item
This map will not display properly without the included resource pack.
FAQ
Q. Why is "insert location here" missing/different/in the wrong place?
A. The nature of duplicating locations from animated shows involves lots of compromise. Often locations change from episode to episode. I've done my absolute best to create a map that is as close as possible to the show, but it's not possible to make something 100% accurate. I've also changed a few parts of the street layout to include canon locations rather than some of the generic houses you see from aerial views of the town.
Q. Can I use this for a youtube video/review?
A. Of course!
