Hello and welcome to my Steampunk City project!
(maybe too huge to handle for one lol)
I'm Martin aka SmartBuilds and i wanted to release a project i've been working on for quite some time now.
First i have to say - i'm kinda over-detailling sometimes (but it's so fun for me to work on such little aspects of the city and make it feel a little more "alive" and unique!)
IMPORTANT!:
Please download the texture pack aswell! (otherwise the world will look horrible, trust me)
It's a version stitched together from the BDoubleO100 pack, default and some other small changes i made.
The download to that is included in the alternative drive link!
Origin and story of the project so far:
So i started this creative world like 4 years ago just for fun and maybe to practice some steampunk styled buildings in a normal amplified minecraft world.
But this project kinda escalated (in a good way) when i built the first district of the city "Brassington".
But i thought kinda "too small" and changed that.
Then i started an entirely new district which is being held up by a huge steel structure.
And there we go - i started to only work on this world since then.
And i'm still working on so so many things in this world! (idk if i ever finish it completely because it just gets bigger and bigger, but i'll try my best on keeping you guys updated! But more on that later)
Story & concept of the world:
So like i said, there is Brassington (which i'm working on atm) but there's also (or will be) another city called Wroxeter.
Brassington is a dark place with much black market activity, crammed houses on top of each other and industry everywhere you can see. Steel and oak are essential building materials in this city.
On the other hand there is Wroxeter, the richer city of them. A brighter place with common or higher wealth.
(just the concept for now, didn't start this city yet)
Things i'm working on or will be worked on:
-- there is no funiture or anything inside houses yet
-- I later want to implement like a story or adventure map to the whole project (but this is far in the future)
-- Re-build the older districts
-- Brassington Districts
-- Wroxeter
-- The YouTube Channel for SmartBuilds
Updates:
I will try to update and upload a new version every now and then! (Hopefully every few months)
I hope you guys enjoy exploring my world and have fun while doing that! :D
(there are also some hidden easter eggs ^^)

- Updated the map to the newest version
- Updated texture pack to my newest version
- Added a church next to the town hall
- Zeppelin was moved over city
- Started building a whole new district (see pictures below), which isn't finished yet!
- Added more details around the city
