Completed in 1973, the Sears (Willis) Tower is the tallest steel building in the world. It is comprised of nine connected tubes at varying heights, a design which allows for more strength and floor space. This model is at full 1:1 scale, over 500 blocks tall, which conflicts with minecraft's 256 block height limit. It is split into 3 pieces: the ground and bottom half, the top half, and the roof and antennas. The full building pictures are of it turned sideways to fit---this was done crudely with mcedit, which left a lot of problems given that not all blocks rotate nicely.
