Run The Ruins (v1.2.2) - A Parkour Map
This is my first ever completed custom map in Minecraft, and I'm very proud of it. "Run The Ruins" (currently version 1.2.2, which is the final iteration) is a simple and completely linear Parkour map with a ruined theme, which will probably take about twenty minutes of your time to complete - or ten if you're a good free-runner! The map incorporates dynamic checkpoints and a timer that starts when you begin the run and stops once you reach the end. There's also a death counter, which shows up in the player list.
1.2.2 Amendment:
Against my own word, I added a few things to the world and dubbed it "version 1.2.2". The map now incorporates a board at the end with credits to myself as the builder, and Doomesdaye and Rodent2000XD as testers. There are also two secret chests, one at the very start and one at the very end, which are more for laughs than anything else.
Gameplay rules:
- Play on peaceful so no pesky Creepers blow up the map.
- Play on Adventure mode, or Survival if you can resist the urge to break and place blocks.
- Your only goal is to reach the end!

Anyway, I just want to say thanks so much for playing the map! I see what you mean about starting with items; I'm afraid I don't know what causes that. You did miss the pressure plate on the starting island, but that's ok: all it does is start a timer. To be honest, you did do far better than I've ever done! XD Thank you very much for the feedback, and making a highly enjoyable video.
PS: Jeopardy, meaning "danger of loss, harm, or failure". So basically, the "Final Jeopardy" is the final chance to live or die. ;P
