Its namesake ninglor stands not for the white lily of Lebennin in southern Gondor, but rather for the water-lily otherwise ubiquitous throughout Ilu-Ambar. Gandalf’s lily-shaped firework is rumored to reflect this sanctuary of solace. It remains one of the few bastions of tranquility amidst the upheavals just beyond the borders of Lindon.
