This is an original Minecraft build of mine used in my Naval Air Station Alameda map. This is a 1:1 scale build of one of the aircraft hangars. Hangars 11, 12, 20, 21, 22, 23, 39, and 40 all shared the same architectural design. Built between 1941 to 1944, the hangars were used for aircraft ranging from seaplanes, WW2 fighters, to modern day military jet and propeller aircraft. Due to the base closure in 1997, these hangars have been since repurposed for commercial use.
