You don't have to but it's recommended to use JEI : https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/jei, so you can know the
recipes for items. There are currently 2 dimensions, the ore dimension and the Stone Dimension. Too make the portal for the ore dimension make a portal frame made out of "Framed Iron Diamond Block" and then right click the frame with the "Ore Wand" and then the portal will be created. Too make the stone dimension portal make a portal frame out of Stone, not cobblestone then right click the frame with a stone wand. The new biomes are, "Cherry Biome" and the "Walnut Biome". The new tools are the wands, and sabers! The new Dimensions are Stone Dimension and Ore dimensions. The new blocks so far are, Cherry Planks, Walnut Planks. 3 type of blocks of luminance, dirt stone and diamond framed block] PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS WORK IN PROGRESS, THEY WILL BE MANY MORE BIOMES, DIMENSIONS, BLOCKS AND MORE!
