Simply gather 4 iron ingots, 1 amethyst shard, 1 redstone dust, 1 chest boat, and 2 torches, and you'll be well on your way to unleashing this marvel of modern engineering. And don't forget - a single iron ingot is all it takes to tame and maintain your Explorbot's peak performance, ensuring it remains your faithful companion on all your expeditions.

Explorbot Abilities:



* Easily craft able fairly early game (hardest part is probably the Amethyst Shard). 4 iron ingots, 1 amethyst shard, 1 redstone dust, 1 chest boat, and 2 torches, is all you need to create this wonderful new friend.

* Use an iron ingot to link it to you (tame it) or an iron ingot will also completely heal the Explorbot.

* It floats around close by all the time for easy access to the full chest (27 slots) of accessible inventory.

* In lower light levels it gets closer to you and sheds light, so you can see where you are going.

* If there are any "monsters" within 10 blocks, the Explorbot goes kind of crazy and lets off an alarm, letting you know that danger is close (also great for finding caves while stair casing down)!

* You can hop onto the Explorbot's back for a ride over land or sea (standard WASD controls). Explorbot is slightly less than 1 block tall/wide, so you can ride the Explorbot in places not normally ridable.

* The Explorbot is great for exploring/lighting up cave systems quickly and safely (as you can ride yourself out of a sticky situation).

* Just watch out for lava...the Explorbot won't be hurt and goes rather slowly over lava, but you (as the rider), will get hurt... bring fire resistance potions while riding over lava. Personally, I prefer to ride Striders and let the Explorbot just follow me ;)

* If, for some reason, you don't want the Explorbot around, just kill it. It will drop the Explorbot Token and everything in its inventory, so you can bring it back (still will need an iron ingot handy to link it to you (tame it)). Like how you punch a boat to break it, then can place again.

* If the Explorbot's inventory is full, just park it over a hopper to drain its inventory. Very convenient for unloading into storage system.

* While riding, you can fall from any height and not take any fall damage!

* Will need Holiday Creator Features Switch activated!
