NOTICE
The mod is discontinued at the moment. Development may resume another day.
Obsidian Stockpile is basically a mod that adds a few more new uses to obsidian. That means new blocks, new armor, new tools, and new weapons; all based entirely from obsidian.

As of now, there isn't a whole lot that this mod has to offer. Of course, I just started development on it, not to mention this is the first mod that I've ever worked on, so please bare with me.

So to start out, let me give you the basic recipes for every block and item from the mod.

Obsidian Bricks: 4x Obsidian in a 2x2 pattern.

|

Large Obsidian Bricks: 4x Obsidian Bricks in a 2x2 pattern.

|

Obsidian Pillar: 2x Obsidian Bricks in a 1x2 pattern, vertical.

|

Glowing Obsidian: Glowstone Dust on each corner, Obsidian on the most top/bottom/left/right grid slot, Redstone Dust in the center.

|

Crying Obsidian: Water Bucket in the center, Obsidian on all other slots.

|

Armor/Tools/Sword: How you'd typically craft vanilla armor and tools, but with Obsidian rather than the basic materials.

Next, I'll explain the uses for each added block.

Obsidian Bricks: Basic construction block.

|

Large Obsidian Bricks: Basic construction block.

|

Obsidian Pillar: Basic construction block. Currently cannot place it facing sideways, will fix soon.

|

Glowing Obsidian: Basic construction block. Emits multi-colored dust particles. Doesn't light up yet, will definitely give it light source properties soon.

|

Crying Obsidian: Basic construction block. Can place certain plants/flowers on top, as well as sugar cane when exposed to water. Is affected by gravity in a similar manner as sand or gravel.

Of course, with all of the aforementioned blocks having Obsidian as a source in one way or another, they can only be mined with a Diamond Pickaxe or Pickaxe from another mod that is equally as strong or stronger.

Future plans: Stairs, slabs, more blocks, doors, mobs, obsidian structures, possibly a biome centered around obsidian.

Additional Notes: Obsidian armor has very low durability compared to the tools, will fix soon.

Thank you so much for checking out Obsidian Stockpile and seeing what it has to offer. This is my first ever mod and I really want to go far with it and add as much as I possibly can! If you enjoy the mod, a Diamond or a Favorite would be much appreciated but not required!

MCreator was used to make Obsidian Stockpile, I highly suggest you check it out if you're looking into creating your own mods. MCreator is a really well made tool that allows you to make your own Minecraft Java Edition mods. It's easy to pick up and use once you figure everything out.
