MCSkinn Editor
Hi! Today we're introducing MCSkinn, a modern Minecraft skin editor for windows, which is based on MCSkin3D. You can edit not only your skins but also entity textures easily and creatively. It has the exactly same usage of MCSkin3D (stopped updating a long time ago).

Design your very own skins
One of the keys to Minecraft’s success has to do with the fact that players can customize and modify the environment however they like. Thus, why not do the same with the characters they play with? That’s the function of a program of the likes of MCSkinn, a tool that allows us to create Minecraft skins.
Paint all just the way you like
Unlike other real-time editors, this editor actually lets you paint on the model, as well as the 2d texture map, also providing a neat management facility for all of your installed skins.
Organize your wardrobe as well
It’s both a skin management and skin editing tool. It holds all of your skins in a convenient place, lets you manage them from within the program.

Both of them are editable with MCSkinn. To edit the armor in Minecraft, you should extract the armor texture from the vanilla Minecraft resource pack to the MCSkinn library. After editing, you need to make you own resource pack to apply it.
To edit the armor layer of yoyr skin, it's easy. First make sure your skin is 64x64 and set to "Steve" or "Alex" model (NOT the "Minimal" ones). Then you will be able to edit the armor layer in the 3D or2D editor.
Thanks!
