Abandoned for being a crappy MCreator mod- if I ever revisit it, and I do want to, I will actually code it instead of using the awful program that is MCreator.
Welcome to the world of Brine.
What is brine, you ask? Well, it is an incredibly salty liquid found in pits deep in the ocean depths. And that's what this mod is about: adding all sorts of features to the oceans. The sea was feared long ago, and it will be feared again.
Exploration
• A new dimension; Byatis, the Eternal Sea
• Many new generated structures
• Vanilla world improvements
Building
• 50+ new blocks, with more every update
• A new stone type, prismite, including all the variations that Vanilla stone has
• New plants and fungi, both normal and strange
Combat
• Several new hostile mobs
• Rare drops used to create upgraded tools, weapons, and armor
• Environmental challenges for exciting fights
Much more information available on the Curseforge page.
Also check out the official wiki! Information on every single thing in the mod (which was a lot to type)!
Enjoy!

Credit | MCreator to set up the mod, though all the code itself is by me; GeckoLib for entity animations; and Blockbench for custom models |
Progress | 100% complete |

Updating to 1.16 would be an INSANE amount of work due to worldgen changes (they even changed the language that worldgen uses, it's now in JSON), so no, not unless I'm really motivated.
