What do you call a maths teacher who used to be your favourite teacher but is slowly morphing into your computer science teacher (who you absolutely despise, gives you the test without telling you, you had one then tries *GASLIGHTING* the whole class into thinking he did, then we get bad grades and he acts like we r dissapoint,ents when like b- you r)?

she gave us a test on her first day back (she was off cus she broke her leg or smth) and she gave us a test which has physics stuff in it
land I really struggle with the topic -

revising is the only way I pass
WE HAD NO FRICKING TIME TO REVISE WTH

we had a test on Pythagoras theorem and trigonometry
I really struggled w the topic
so everyday I went home no break revising for HOURSSSSS
And I got the results today and I got 23/25 :D
i got all the answers right I think I lost marks on the working out ;-;
cus I self taught myself cus the teacher was crap

now im gonna fail the test we did today
BC WE WERENT GIVEN TIME TO REVISE
AND IM GONNA FEEL TERRIBLE FOR IT
MY MOTHER IS GONNA KILL ME AND BELITTLE ME
AND IM GONNA FEEL EVEN WORSE
AND THEN MY DAD WILL PROB JOIN IN

so yeah
i was sobbing at the end of the test and struggling to breathe and had to take my asthma pump ✨👍

✨it didnt work ✨
but sadly i lived so its fine ig 😔

As a son of Indian/Asian Parents (the stereotypes are real btw), I'd suggest that you deal with this upfront and take it in like a champ. I got a 70 (I usually aim for 95%+) and I was sobbing, not only because of what I made, but how the world would judge me. They did judge me and so did my parents, but at the end if the day, it teaches you to study everything before you even reach the topic. Math's, History, etc... unless you have other things.

Best advice, show the world that you can take in stuff emotionally as a champ and talk with a therapist on how you're feeling. Once you do that, they'll understand soon enough on how you are and won't judge you as harsh as before

My art teacher is the best person to exist irl

today was our last art lesson and I didn’t know I thought we had one more :(

at the end of the lesson I told her thank you for everything she doesn’t know how much she has helped me and I was crying lol
and then there were people there so I wrote down on a piece of paper I had ‘I haven’t really told anyone but I’ve felt like I have really been struggling with my mental health this year and you have been so nice to me you have really helped me tysm’

and then she hugged me and told she feels like a lot of peeps have these past few years
and she said if I ever want to come speak to her Abt how I feel I can 😭

now I have rest of this week
next week
2 days

and 6 weeks of suffering at home during summer holidays :(
believe me I will be counting down the days till summer ends
my teachers count till the end of school
i count till summer holidays are finished lol

but at least she’s my teacher for the next 2 years and I have art 3 times a week :D

(/rant-ish reminder) (note: nothing controversial is meant at all)

Good morning PMC! I hope y'all are having a good morning and that your day goes great! And if you live in a different time zone, I hope your day is going well or that it did go well!

But today, I do want to bring something up to everyone's attention that I think should be addressed. It's time we talk about how we treat others. This doesn't have to relate to anything. I'm going to be general.

On PMC, we're all allowed to opinions. As well, we are always allowed to agree to disagree. We all have different opinions and that's okay! That's what makes us, well, us. You're unique and no one else is quite like you.

With that also being said, don't shame someone or judge someone for their opinions or what they believe in. That's just being a jerk. We all are different in our own ways, and we should realize that.

Some of us came on PMC to escape the real world's judgment (as I did too) and to be socially accepted on here without facing judgment or censorship for what we believe in. Well, if you judge people for what they believe in, but you came to escape judgment, you're no different than the people that judge and censor you.

Here some tips from me:
If you don't agree with something, you can: (A) Scroll right past it, (B)Try to see from their point of view, or (C) do research into the topic. Don't comment negative stuff because that's just being mean.

Respect and be open to different stuff! The more you learn of different demographics, the better your understanding is and how you can see from their point of view!

Be kind and be respectful every day and a good day on PMC will be every day! But again, that's just a thought.

Overall: treat others the way you want to be treated! I made this post because I don't want to see my friends fighting with each other. Why can't we all just hang out normally, putting aside politics or movements or ideals and just see that we're all humans?
