Steadily making my way from Alpha 1.2.2 to modern Minecraft all in one world. Currently on release 1.1, it'll probably become my "main world" that I use for everything.
Mostly 1.14.2 because my main survival world is 9 years+ and I don't have any reason to update past it yet. (Also for something like the new nether I'd rather start a new world for it.) I have been mucking around in the new snapshot from a different harddrive however as I love the new nether.
I mostly play on 1.14.4 for building. The blocks added in version 1.14.4 are just so good for adding small details.
1.7.10 and one of the 1.12s(i can't remember which) for mods, 1.8.9 for pvp. and the latest version(1.15.2 at time of this post) for survival

I generally update to the latest version because starting over once in a while makes the game more fun, I think. After a while, you start to get everything you need, and you have all the farms, and I start to run out of ideas of what to do.
