Have you been take the portal orb in your hand ? And have you the last version ? And if you do /datapack list, see you my datapack ?
Also, the portals only work if the chunks that the portals are in, are loaded. When the portals are initially created, this datapack adds the chunks to /forceload (so everything works as expected), but those are reset once you save & quit, so the portals don't work again when the game is re-loaded.
I got around this by creating my own datapack that /forceloads the appropriate chucks (which of course I'd have to manually update every time I add a new portal).
Could this issue be avoided if the actual coordinates of the teleport locations were saved to the portal, instead of looking for a linked portal entity elsewhere in the world?
All in all very useful datapack, much nicer than traveling the nether to get to my far off areas!
