This datapack adds functioning computers, which can be used to perform some simple actions with more coming soon! Features
How to
Recipes can be found in the in-game tutorial book. If you lose your book, run /trigger hpc.tutorial_book to get a new one.
Place a pc, monitor, keyboard and mouse within 1.5 blocks of each other to activate the computer. Keep in mind that you do need a block of air above where you're placing them in order to be able to place. They can be filled in later. Now the screen should turn blue.
Walk within 1.5 blocks on a blue screen to acces the gui in chat. Here you can press the text Turn On] in order to start the computer. Thereafter the screen should become black with some text on it and you should get a new gui in chat. Now you can press
[Turn Off] To swich the machine back off
Load Chunk in order to force-load the chunk the computer is currently in
McBrowser to open up a gui with links to minecraft related sites
Background to open up a background changing gui.
Server to access servers remotely
Color to change the computer's RGB color
Password to change the computer's password
Recievers to power recievers remotely
Shift-Right klick the computer wrench in order to break all computer related parts.
In order to use servers you will need to place down a sever rack in the world. You can right click on two different parts on it in order to open up server 1 or 2 which can store items. Servers can be assigned channels in order to be able to access them using computers. This can be done by first running /trigger hpc.channel set (channel), right clicking with the computer wrench while next to a server rack and pressing apply. This will set the server's channel to the number you assigned while running the command.
To access the nearest server rack in the world, open up your computer and press Server. This will open up another page where you can choose between server 1 and 2. Press either of these to summon a minecart on the monitor which contains the items from said server. Here you can also assign a channel for the computer to connect to, which works in the same way as the server rack.
Computers get the password you have currently selected by running /trigger hpc.password set (password) (default = 0). If you don't have the correct password set, you can't access the computer and you will need to run /trigger hpc.password set (password) and set it to the correct password before turning the computer on.
Uninstall
To uninstall this datapack, run /function hpc:uninstall/uninstall
To remove all content related to the pack from your world, run /function hpc:uninstall/remove_content
