This is a pack I made because I wanted to experiment with different effects at different y-lvls.
Each group has a few different perks and debuffs, for example if a miner goes low enough they will gain haste but if they go too high they get mining fatigue.
occasionally you will be asked to join either the miners or mountaineers and once you make a choice you cannot revert it
Base Stats have been changed for each group
Miner base stats:
+4 base armor
+1 base damage
+1 base knockback resist
Mountaineer base stats
+8 base health (4 hearts)
+15% base speed
+1 base luck
_______________________________________
Miner Perks:
You gain more haste the lower you go in the world
After y=96 and below you gain temporary water breathing/ fire resist (they run out when you are in water/ are on fire)
With an iron helmet you gain night vision and with full iron armor it buffs clean (non enchanted full durability) iron pickaxes immensely
in the deep dark you gain resistance and in lush caves you slowly regenerate
Wardens are neutral (if you make them mad it might take a while for them to forgive you)
________________________________________
Mountaineer Perks:
You gain saturation more often the higher up you go in the world
After y=96 and above you gain resistance and regeneration from standing on or in powdered snow
With leather boots on you take fall damage less often, with leather leggings you gain jump boost, and with full leather armor
you gain more speed the higher you go
you can slowly regen when on top of mountains
Phantoms are passive
Debuffs:
Miners = mining fatigue the higher you go
Mountaineers = hunger and slowness the lower you go
Item changes: you may now throw a phantom membrane on a slime block to create a temporary launch pad

Power snow?! What version is this from, how much did I sleep? It's a 1.30? Have minecarts gotten faster? Another golem win in mob-vote? Okay, jokes aside. Datapack concept is really good. The implementation is also not bad, although a bit overpowered
And btw, will there be datapack updates?
about the overpowered aspect yeah this is the first implementation of the pack so im seeing how players react and use the pack before changing values.
and yes im planning on some interesting updates/additions to this pack in the future.
