This is a really cool datapack. I did a showcase of it on my YouTube channel:
I got some comments asking if it could possibly drop all things that a tree would such as an oak bonsai dropping apples, sticks, saplings, and leaves in addition to the log.

consider making sand and cactus/sugarcane as well?

sometimes these spit wood out in random directions so i had to put some glass around them to make sure the woods went into the hoppers, but they're super cute and a fun little addition to the game. great work!

I personally hate getting information from videos, but I appreciate very much that you did actually put info out there.

For anyone else like me who sees this comment before the video: Datapack and resource pack to install (super easy). Crafting: 5 clay in a `U` like a boat and one bonemeal in the center. Place it down. Then right-click on the bonsai pot with dirt (grows slower) or grass (much faster). Finally, throw a sapling of the tree type you want to grow.

This will spit out a log (and occasional sapling/apple) every so often. So it's a miniature log factory. You can place a hopper on top and it'll fill the hopper.
