Easy Shops | Map Maker's Toolbox

(📦 Latest & All Versions at: https://cloudwolfyt.github.io/)

Make Villager and Sign shops in game! The key feature of this is villager shops, the sign shops are fairly limited at the moment. Get the special sign from the menu. Place a shulker box and put the custom sign on top, then put a block on top of the sign and click the sign. It will spawn a villager and format the box. The top row is the buy 1 item and the middle row is the buy 2 item. The last row is the item they sell. This works for custom nbt items as well and updating a shop's rolls is as easy as just clicking the sign again. You can set the villager's profession manually or by using workbenches of the appropriate kind.

NOTE: Video was made on V1.0 and the pack is on V2.0, with added functionality and better look to the shops.

This is part of my Map Maker's Toolbox, which is a list of datapacks that work as tools that are useful when making a creation such as an adventure map.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installation:
1) Download the .zip
2) drag it into your .minecraft/saves/(world_name)/datapacks folder
3) Unzip the folder
4) Open the folder, make sure that the first thing you see is "data", if you see the folder name again then drag that outside of the folder.

Very cool concept you have here Cloud_Wolf, I was considering making some sort of villager functionality with my EconomyPlus datapack, but haven't really felt the need for it :) looks nice, I might try it later today!

Sometimes the villager's shops reset back to their vanilla defaults. I can click the sign to update them but I don't want to have to update the sign every time I use the shop.

Is there a way to implement the villager shops where the items to be bought can be pulled values from a storage location? Therefore the trade is only available if it has been stocked and then the currency used to purchase the items would be stored for someone to collect profit? For example, on our realm we would like to set these up as player based shops where a player would need to stock his/her shop to be purchased as well as collecting any profit from items bought.

my b for not replying for so long. It does not have a storage/stock system atm this is meant mainly for simple shop mechanics. If you want better like server shops I worked on this pack for commission:

https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/shop-amp-currency/

It has stuff like currency and stock

How do you make a villager look at you when you get close because it seems all the villager shops I make look in the same direction and no other way.

To not be more annoying, but do I type this command in Minecraft or that control panel you are on. So if it is on Minecraft can you just type the command for me out with the forward-slash and all that to make it easier for me. Thanks for replying by the way!
