Conjurer's Lantern, a legendary hallow which creates everburning light source, once used by great ancient mages to brighten the world. But aeons passed by, the sorcery technics to craft it have been lost for so long that no one ever think about it again.
But the adventurer accidently found clues in some tattered scrolls, and stepped into the path of recreate the hallow. Will this ambition comes true?
This data pack allows you to place and break light block (firstly added in 1.17) in a magic way.
With Conjurer's Lantern, you can get control of the power of light source block, making advantage of it to expel the monsters, decorating structures and so on.
The way to craft it has been revealed and will be mentioned below.
But here be dragons: power always comes with price. When you are in quest of ancient sorcery, those archaic beings may percieve your action. No one knows how they will react.
Make sure you are well prepared in case of anything unexpected.
As a reminder, if you get into trouble, try everything that may come in handy to get over it.

To craft a Conjurer's Lantern
Here are everything you need in the process:
After collecting them, you need to build an altar like this:
Make sure there is no block on the enchanting table.
After building it, you need to throw the four items of the first line as shown in the top picture, drop them on the enchaing table, and then the ritual of crafting the lantern will begin.

To use Conjurer's Lantern
Simply right-click to cast a ray that will place light block at its end:
Shift and right-click to cast a ray which break light blocks on its path:
When the lantern is in hand, the light blocks in the area of 19x11x19 will emit particles so that holders can find them:
And if you have installed OptiFine, there will also be dynamic light when you walk around with your lantern:
The last two functions are optional. They are enabled in default, but if you have lagging problem or just want to leave them alone, you can hold your lantern in hand and input command to toggle them on and off.
For the dynamic light, the command is /trigger dynamicLantern
For the light block particles, the command is /trigger showConjure
You can do this whenever you want.
