Better Enchanting Tables v1.1
Installation: Put the downloaded .zip file directly into your datapacks folder. No need to unzip!
This data pack adds a new enchanting table that lets you get specific enchanted books to use on your items. It is intended for later game, as you will need plenty of XP bottles (max level cleric villager)
You can build the enchanting table by first obtaining a vanilla enchanting table and a block of diamond. Throw them on the ground next to each other, and the table will spawn in their place.
This enchanting table doesn't require any bookshelves to use
Each enchantment you make will need some of a certain item, one book, one lapis for every level, and a number of XP bottles that scales exponentially with each level.
Since you have to use XP bottles, and combining the books with tools costs XP, crafting the books does not use any of your stored XP.
When you put all of the correct items in, the enchanted book gets crafted instantly. If you are afraid of accidentally crafting something, wait to put the book in until you are ready.
Not all enchantments are added yet, but the most useful (in my opinion) are. The rest will be added at a later date.
Recipes
Each recipe follows the same pattern that has to be strictly followed, which means that it can't be moved up or down, and isn't shapeless.
