This Datapack is made for Minecraft 1.20! Backward compatibility (to 1.17) only via the links in the Changelogs!
This Datapack adds a new enchantment to your Minecraft world: The Smelting-Enchantment. If your tool has this enchantment on it, it will automatically smelt every block, that is mined with this tool, like if you put it into a furnace. This enchantment also works with Fortune and Silk Touch! For example, if you mine clay without Silk Touch, it would normally drop four clay balls. With the Smelting-Enchantment, it will drop four bricks (Not the Blocks). With Silk Touch and Smelting, it will drop terracotta, because it smelts the clay block.
Of course you can upgrade the diamond tools to Netherite.
If you've got any idea, how I could improve the pack, please let me know me in the comments.

Obtaining
You can't get this enchantment in the enchanting table, by trading with villagers or finding an enchanted book. You can only find enchanted diamond tools in four naturally generated types of vanilla structures, each in a different one.
Take Care!
This enchantment can not be removed by a Grindstone but will lose it's enchanted glint. It also loses its glint by repairing in an anvil.
If you combine your tools by crafting, the enchantment will be removed.
Take care, in which order you combine the Smelting tool in the anvil: It always has to be in the first slot!

Silk Touch and ores...
It is very useful to autosmelt your iron ore at mining, but if you use it with Silk Touch, take care: If you mine for example copper ore, it will first get broken by Silk Touch and then be smelted, so it will only be one copper ingot!
Fortune...
It is very useful to autosmelt your iron ore at mining, but if you use it with Fortune, it first gets broken by fortune and then gets smelted, so it will be multiple iron ingots!

Hotfix 1.4.1 - Loot Tables : by MrCommandTM 06/29/2023 10:57:27 amJun 29th, 2023
Bug Fixes:
- This Datapack replaces the loot tables of four structures by modified loot tables. As there was new loot added by Minecraft, I had to synchronise it, so you can still obtain it with the datapack, what got impossible before.
