Steve slowly opened his eyes, blinking from the brightness of the sun. As his eyes slowly adjusted, he sighed and looked around. He saw tall spruce trees off to his left covered in snow. To his right he saw a dry desert with heat waves rolling off of it. In front of him, much to his luck, he saw a plains, with a small village, containing only a church, three houses, and a blacksmith. He smiled at his luck of there being a blacksmith. He walks forward slowly, looking at the four villagers who come out to look at him. He walks into the back of the blacksmith, opening the single chest he found. Inside were a pair of iron leggings, an iron pick, and a chain helmet. He takes all the items and puts the armor on, then picks his new pickaxe up, and heads over to the spruce forest. He sets his pick to the side, then starts to punch the tree. The tree slowly cracks, then with a pop, a pice of wood pops out and he picks it up. He repeats this process until he has 30 pieces of wood, then finishes up the tree he was working on for a total of 37 pieces of wood. He takes one block, cutting it into four planks. He makes these planks into a crafting table, then walks back to the village. Walking into the church, he turns to the right and climbs up the ladder to the top. He sets his table down, watching as it grows until he can now craft items. After turning the rest of his wood into planks, he goes back out into the open. Placing the blocks slowly, he builds a small wooden hut, big enough for a double chest, a crafting table, a furnace, and a bed. He nodded as he makes a door, then places it. He looks up, noticing the sun was slowly going down, and it was close to dark. He grabs his pick and goes to an empty spot outside the village. He sets the pick to the side as he digs through the dirt, finally reaching stone. He grabs his pick, checks the sun, then heads down and starts to mine. He began the long process of collecting cobblestone and coal, then stepped back in shock as he came across a piece of stone with tiny coppery veins in it. Putting his pick to work, he mines six of these blocks from the one spot, then looks at it. He realizes this is iron ore, and wonders how to get the iron out. Climbing out of his mine, he notices it was dark. Not wanting to be caught outside, knowing skeletons, zombies, creepers, and spiders spawned then, he hurried back to his house. He made two planks into sticks, then combined these with coal, thus creating torches. He set up a couple of them inside, enjoying the light. He crafts himself a furnace, then gets an idea. He takes one piece of coal, puts it in the furnace as fuel, then places the iron ore inside of it. He watches with a smile as it slowly smelts down, giving him iron ingots.
