Sorry if this blog is short, this is however an important issue i've noticed. 









What I notice on some minecraft servers (outside of minecraf too) is that the staff are usually more privillaged. For example, they may be able to use creative to cheat in survival. They can get OP armour and weapons and overall have an advantage over regular players. The staff may then also be expected to be basically worshipped. They believe they deserve higher respect. They may be able to insult any regular player and ban someone when they insult back. If there is a disagreement between a mod and a normal member, the mod may be able to ban the player instead of properly discussing it. The list goes on. 

My question is, why should staff in general be given higher respect and in game advantages over members? Why should staff be worshipped like a deity? The job of a server's staff is to help the server and moderate it from rule-breakers. Their job is not to be considered superior to regular members. I personally don't get why some servers have them as the upper class with in-game benefits over the rest.
