So This Is Purrr, Laur, & My Story. We Worked Really Hard On This!
----- Ayla woke up with a start, seeing nothing but the endless blue sky. She was in the deepest depths of confusion All she could remember was falling. Falling for miles down, as though it would never end. Ayla looked around in awe. She only saw a white, fluffy ground, which she scooped some out and cupped it in her small hands quickly. She noticed a figure walking torwards her from the endless tufts of white surrounding her. "Where're you from?" She heard him say. He reached out his hand to help Ayla up. She couldn't answer the question she really didn't know. Instead, she took his hand in silence. The extreme blur was no longer, but her voice was gone. The boy answered for her. "You can't speak English? I guess you're a martian." He declared. "Pfft- must have hit your head hard. Funny, though, because clouds are... soft." Ayla stood in awe. Was this stranger inferring that they were high up in the sky, even though she had been falling the last time she checked? "What's a Martian?" She asked meekly. He roared with laughter, but his smile faded quickly. "You're serious?" Ayla nodded her head. "So what's your name?" he asked, smirking. "I- I." She stuttered. "Ayla. Pleased to meet you!" She replied dizzily, slipping near the edge of the cloud. The boy quickly grabbed her. "Jid." She mumbled " Pleased to meet you." again. The boy laughed, saying, "you just said that!" She scratched her head, puzzled. The boy then announced, "We really should get you to the mainland now, I guess. Or maybe the coffee shop." She blinked. "What do you mean, Mr. Jid, by mainland?" She took a troubled pause to think. "Where are we even?" She exclaimed, feeling upset and lost, even if she didn't even know if perhaps this was where she was supposed to be. Jid grasped her hand in his. "We have to hurry up, we really can't be there later than nightfall, you know." He urged her. He began to pull her with him. But Ayla wouldn't dare to move. "Are you.. Are you sure it's safe, Mr. Jid?" She questioned "Mr. Jid? Please, I'm a kid like you." He snickered. There was a short silence they used to question each other. "Wait, you're a kid?" They asked in unison. There were murmured replies of "I mean, yeah.." and "I suppose I am." Ayla looked at him for quite a while. "Mr.-- I mean Jid, How did you get that.. um.." She stammered gesturing to his cheek. "Oh, that smoke?" Jid asked. "Well, I sneaked in to a high-school party of course." Ayla covered her mouth in shock. "'N since we have security dragons for.. 'Security purposes'" He laughed awkwardly. "They pulled 'em out and, well." He motioned to his cheek. "-And some of the smoke got you." Ayla finished, proud of her answer. "So you could be able to wipe it off- I think that's how smoke works." She giggled demurely. "So anyways, we should catch the closest ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).." Jid said, most likely to himself. "I-Is that kind of like, a, say, subway? A train-like thing?" Ayla asked in a most perplexed way, and squinted her eyes as if it would make Jid give her the answers. "I have no idea what you're talking about. But hurry up, it's leaving now." He grabbed her hand and they ran to the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) with Ayla curiously following him.
