Before we delve into my overall opinion of 'Papers, please' a question you might be asking is, "What even is 'Papers, please'?". Well to answer that, 'Papers, please' is a role playing game in which you take the role of the main character only known as the inspector. Your character has been picked through the "Labor lottery" and has been placed in charge of controlling who can or cannot enter the ficitional (and communist depicted) country of Artstotzka through the East Grestin border after a long period of war with a neighboring nation. You as a check point officer must prevent terrorist attacks, human trafficking and all sorts of people from entering in.
Now moving on from my nearly completed summary to my opinion of this game. To be honest here, I believe that the game 'Papers, please' is phenomenal. It has some characters you could know better than the back of your hand (which probably isn't healthy I guess), and it is also easy and simple to play and something to keep yourself busy and hooked to something so you're not just sitting there doing NOTHING. If I were to be asked if I would recommend this game to friends, that would be a yes. This game has a classical 8-bit style to it that can be very pleasing and fun to view, and is able to make you rethink your (In game) life due to moral choices made in the game.
