I think there should be more diversity towards food!
Reason
Right now, all we have are some fruits,vegetables and some cooked junk!
I think they should add more food such as Cereal, which could be crafted from a bowl some milk, and some . They could also add foods such as popcorn. I think diversity towards the food would be necessary because right now, it is SO BLAND!
How could it be crafted/found?
Well, food of more variety it could go anywhere! However, the most common place I think it'd go would be in villager trades, bonus chests, and crafting. If you wanted to make cereal, you could combine some Bran+Milk+Bowl. The Bran could be made by 2 wheat in a crafting grid. The popcorn could be found in a villager trade and cooked in a furnace! It could also last 4 bites with one popcorn bucket!
Why isn't the current food good enough?
Because, variety is what we need, golden carrots and golden apples are fine, however it feels as if, that's not enough. I mean the food that is available now is fine, however it's not really exciting just cooking beef, or pork. I think that adding this would make for an amazing time for players, and it wouldn't feel so bland!
Are popcorn and cereal going to be the only thing added!??!
No! I was just using them as an example, there could be plenty more foods, which could and would add a more exciting feel to the game overall. There are many other examples that could've been used. I will name a list of a few foods that could be added to the game: Sandwiches, Pizza, Fries, Pears, Peppers (which could light you on fire depending on it's spice), Strawberries, even more seeds for different food, etc.
The list is endless! You can add many different foods to the game, and give some boosts, and some deficiencies!

I apologize for being critical. But "moar food" is just such an arbitrary concept.
