IO Games are taking over the web!


There is a lot going on in the io games world. For those of you who do not know, .io games are a brand new genre of online web games that are totally multiplayer. This means that you can play them in your browser, with tons of other players.

Why is this cool?

Well, for starters, it's pushing web game developers to create much more interactive and fun games. Multiplayer web games have never been as popular as they are now. These things are being released like crazy. If you visit the io games list, you can see just how many of them are there.

Where did they come from?

The whole io games craze began when a game called agar.io was released. Agar went super viral, and it gained millions of players worldwide very quickly. Then came a game called slither.io, and tons of others started to pop up.

In my opinion, the two coolest new io games that just came out are 1) legions.io and 2) space1.io
