Do you like the yellow text on the main menu of Minecraft, known as splashes? Ever wanted to change it? Well here's a tutorial how.

To do this you will need either WinRAR Archiver or 7-zip.

To begin, enter Run > %appdata% > Roaming > .minecraft > bin

From there, enter minecraft.jar (May appear as only minecraft) with WinRAR Archiver or 7-zip. NOTE: Make a copy of Minecraft.jar and extract it to a reachable folder before doing this step.

Find the folder named title. Open this folder. Then open splashes.txt (May appear as only splashes).

In this .txt file are all of the splashes on the main menu. This is your time to be creative! Delete splashes and create new ones!

Once you have finished, click File > Save.

Now, enter Minecraft and peer at your new splashes!

When did you edit them? When I edited them, I got completely new splashes. Did you press Enter after every new splash?

Sorry, Masone23. I can't help you with what I know. All I know is if you change the splashes.txt file and save it to the same place with the same name (splashes.txt), then it should work fine.
