Ok. So the steps are listed below:
- Create a new folder and name it anything you would like!
- Open notepad or any text editor
- Paste the text at the end into notepad
- On the 3rd line it says pack_format:5! If you are using 1.6-1.8 use pack_format:1
- 1.9, 1.10 - pack_format 2
- 1.11,1.12- 3 pack_format: 3
- 1.13,1.14 - pack_format: 4
- 1.15, 1.16 - pack_format: 5
- Then goto Appdata Minecraft Versions and you will see a .jar file.
- Open that and you will see an assets folder.
- click that folder and click extract to.
- Now choose your resource pack folder.
- by now you should have a file and a folder in your resource pack folder.
- Go into assets and you will see a folder named Minecraft.
- Explore that folder and see what you want to change.
- Remember it must be the same file type. For example audio files are .ogg so if you are changing audio your file should be an ogg file. Same thing for paintings.
- Also its important to rename your own file to the one you are replacing with.
- Thats It! Now you have to put the folder in your resorcepack folder!
{
"pack": {
"pack_format": 5,
"description": "My first resource pack!"
}
}
