Tconstruct is a mod that adds tons of tools and ore, you can build your own custom tools by putting together the different parts(which is how you make them in survival mode).

this mod allows you to use a wooden axe to edit the world around you(its been added with voxel-like features from the looks of it)

In this mod you have all sorts of power supplies which you can use to help you,It works with some other mods like Galacticraft.

Journeymap: this mod will add a map in the corner of your screen and will let you know when there are mobs nearby,Its great when you're in a cave.
