Bass: Slightly elevated. The bass has a nice omph to it but doesn’t ever intrude on the other frequencies. Definitely a subbas>midbass emphasis. This has two effects, the first being positive. As mentioned above, the bass has clean distinction and doesn’t bleed. The “negative” being that bass loses a sense of fullness. With that being said, I can say it’s one of the better tuned bass regions for the price. Though not so impactful, bass is quite fun and even has good texture. Quite happy with the presentation with this set.
Mids: The midrange is similar to the bass in some aspects. The first being its relatively clean presentation. There are no oddities to complain about but at the same time there’s no specialness to it. Instruments sound as they should, but never wow me either. Vocals sound natural if a little thin, particularly with male vocals, though female vocals have a nice naturalness without sounding thin. The upper mids are where I would say have a little emphasis. Electric guitars in particular sound a tad forward but not sharp at all. They lack bite but are still fun to listen to. At the end of the day, for the price, these have excellent performance.
Treble: Probably the weakest point depending on who you ask. Treble starts off fine but falls off. Cymbals and hi-hats especially lack a crispness and sense of weight that I tend to look for. Luckily though, if you are looking for a relaxed listen, these might be up your alley. I could definitely listen to these for long periods without feeling like my ears are being pierced with sounds. Though I do like extra detail in the treble regions, it’s nice to take a break once in a while and just enjoy the music.
Soundstage/Imaging: Staging is about average and imaging is a little better. Not super wide or narrow and positional accuracy is good enough.
Detail/Technical Performance: About average. Nothing really stands out, but presents detail well enough. Around the level of the Aria, if a little lacking. Great for the price!
Comfort/Accessories: Great comfort. Fits my ears nicely though does stick out a little. Accessories are good as well. Enough eartips for most to find a good seal and excellent foam tips. Cable seems just fine. A little thin though not a dealbreaker and could be changed if you really don’t like it.
TLDR; Quite an excellent pair. Definitely my favorite of all the TinHiFi I’ve tried (T3&T4). I would even go as far as saying it’s a great competitor to the Aria and Titan S. It places itself in the middle. The Aria having the most bass and warmth, the Titan S opting for a more bright tilting neutral signature, and the T2 DLC being the more neutral set with a nice bass shelf and relaxed upper treble. Really solid set for the price! Definitely recommended.

A bit ridiculous in value, would buy again.
The packaging is annoying, the box is a bit hard to slide open. The earphones and accessories are well packed though.The cable snaps in place and stays there, can actually be quite hard to disconnect. I recently found these to be very hard to remove. It almost felt like I was going to break them.Super comfy to wear and actually quite intuitive. I don't find myself fumbling around in the dark trying to figure out which earbud goes in which ear.Definitely like the blue foam tips.My previous earbuds include Klipsch Image s4, Hifiman re-400. These are more like the hifiman in that they are quite pleasing and full bodied in sound. The sub-bass is very good and shines through when driving these with a proper amp but also quite good from a phone. Trebles are just as great as the Klipsch which is notorious for great treble performance.I find myself listening to music and movies on these more than a dedicated $1000+ headphone setup (Hifiman Edition X for those that are curious). These buds are just good enough for me to forget about the gear and analyzing the music and just enjoy it. Found myself going around my playlist finding interesting stuff from steel drums, harps and organs to death metal and classic electronics.I think the wire is good but could be a bit less heavy or a bit more flexible/soft but I don't really mind them. Not too long or not too short for me, just right. I do have concerns about the build, think it will hold up just fine for at least a year maybe even a couple of years. I plan on using them on long walks, at the gym, at home at work, basically all the time.I personally would say the audio tuning is on point and would get these over their other variations. Go watch YouTube videos comparing these to the tin t2, haven't actually owned the others. Cure for the Itch: These have cured my itch to keep buying gear. I might even let go of my headphones if I keep using these consistently.Stop what you're doing and give these a try. No reason at all to go for something different (or a lot more expensive) unless you need something extra-terrestrially precise or just a different kind of sound signature. Even then give these a try.For those wondering if this review is fake, no it is not. I've probably spend 10 hours watching headphone reviews every month and keep itching to try new stuff at the local audio store. I got these because they seemed to get a lot of things right for not a lot of money. I got these on Indiegogo for $79 with their earlybird pricing but plan to purchase 2 more of these at retail price for a few close friends who have tried my audio setups before.

I bought these because of several recommendations, I was looking to make an upgrade from the standard IE4's ( sent with Sennheiser's ew300 ) without upgrading to full on customs ("yet")! If the IE4's are $50/60 and the Tin T4 are $100/110? It is my belief these are almost twice as good! Personally I have very small ear canals and with the smallest buds they did fit with some comfort. ( i had already planned to make custom molds with "Radians" ) comparatively these shine, I am a singer in a cover band so I was looking for IEM's with a somewhat neutral response. I think that is what I got. These are not overly bass 'y (i dont need to hear the drums in my ears ) bass gtr comes through nicely, the mid's and highs and separation of all is a leap above what I had been using. Overall I am super happy with this as a step up. Only complaint I have is the "ball" for the "Chin Strap" ( i dont know what to call it when its on the back of your head ) is pretty loose and dose not stay in place but I had planed to upgrade the cable ( mostly just to have another cable but that would be another reason to get a better cable ??) For a budget IEM? this is pretty dang good at this price point! I would not consider myself as an Audiophile just a average joe who has been singing in a rock and roll band you 20+ years and cant justify hundreds of dollars for customs. BTW the pic is after/with the DIY custom radians.
