    I love this machine.
    When it arrived, the battery wouldn't charge. No problem. On the single piece of instructions that came with it, it explains that if the battery sits over 6 months, it will not charge. However, when you call the number provided, they will send you a new battery asap. Customer service is very friendly. My nieces and nephews love this. My friends and I use it all of the time. The lights are great, the sound is good, it's a portable rockin' machine that will light it up wherever you go.

    Got this as a Christmas gift this year and immediately the FUN broke out!!
    What a great device. We had 23 people over and turned a mediocre Christmas into a Nightclub experience. Everyone came to life once the colourful display and upbeat music began. The lights went down and the room was transformed. The microphone added a great touch as individuals began to feel daring and their inner American Idol singing talents came to life. Several guests inquired to were I got it and how much it cost. I told them that it was one of those purchases that you couldn’t put a price on. They all seemed to agree. Also, the fact that you pull up the handle and roll it around like a carry on luggage, made it that much easier to move locations. It truly is a party just waiting to happen on wheels. If I could give it more stars, I definitely would. Maybe I’m just amused by the simple things, I just wish that I would have gotten this years earlier.

     My brother use to have the 50W for a couple of years and I really liked it. I host a lot of events and parties at my home & such and wanted a good sounding speaker that ALSO displays cool lights. I bought the 100W one and it sounds amazing and looks amazing! I was a little hesitant cuz of some reviews but went with it. So happy with it. The mic works great too! I will update it and say if anything goes wrong. But opened it up today and it’s perfect for my Halloween party this weekend!

    I was looking at the different Ion products for quite some time before going with this model. I absolutely love it! It is a great size and weight and appears to be very rugged. The sound is great and the blu-tooth connected very easily. I have not tried the microphone yet so cannot comment on that. The light show is what really sold me on this model as previously I was seriously looking at the models that had either the top light or the front panel light. It was actually quite by accident that I found this one and I am glad I did. If I had one complaint it is that this model does not have the option of using the Party Rocker app to control the unit from your smart phone. Otherwise this unit is highly recommended and a lot of fun!

    I got this for a family reunion (where many people like to do sing-alongs). It was very popular and people said the lights could be seen from well outside the rental house we stayed at.

    To help with karaoke, I bought a gooseneck mount for my phone and attached it to the extended handle of the speaker. That allowed seeing lyrics from sources like YouTube or Amazon Music.

    Pros:

    * Lots of fun
    * It comes with a microphone (although not a great one)
    * The light shows are a huge differentiator

    Cons:

    * It's not cheap
    * Ion has lots of different speakers with various features, but nothing that has everything like the following features found on some of their speakers
    * No phone charging (it would have been nicer to have my phone plugged into the speaker so it could be charged from that battery instead of having to plug my phone into the wall for the karaoke display)
    * No storage for the microphone and cables
    * Not suitable for outside use if it's wet out (which wasn't an issue for me, but it would be nicer)

    If you don't want the light show (or at least not such a prominent one), there are cheaper options, but I wanted something that would blow my family away, so mission accomplished. :-D

    I got this for my daughter for Christmas. It was really awesome and everyone loved it. Now just 2 weeks later the speaker sounds busted. screechy, staticky, Not good.
