Great for adults, too!
I bought this for myself, an adult, intending to modify it to sound less like a toy and more like a real accordion, albeit a 7-button one. Would it be called a melodeon, then? 🙂Anyway. It’s tiny! But seems to be well-made and should last for many years. The bellows are super stiff initially. It took me a good hour of stretching them back and forth (ALWAYS USE THE AIR BUTTON WHEN DOING THIS!) before I could play much of a song, and I’m still hoping they loosen as I play.Modifications: I removed the reed plate and put a piece of tape on the bottom row of holes. YMMV, but this removed the fluty double sound (it’s called something specific, but I can’t remember what.) Replaced the reed bank, popped everything back together, and there you go. I also replaced the thumb strap with something more comfortable and will likely replace the hand strap as well, since it’s a bit tight.I’m definitely happy with my purchase. I may modify the appearance a little more, but for now, it will do. As the bellows loosen, I’ll be able to play the notes more smoothly.

Picked this up to replace on I got for Christmas several years ago. It's really very nice. Bellows are very stiff, but will loosen up with use. Very clean little accordion.

Buttons are better than other "kid" accordions I've tried. These don't get stuck inside when you press them all the way in. The strap is also better quality than the others. It's pleather, but it is better than the cheap vinyl strips! The book isn't great, but it has a few fairly easy songs in it..Would kinda like something more, though!

Overall a really great accordion for a beginner or someone like me who likes to just piddle around with random instruments. It's super fun!

Got this for my family for Christmas and it has been a great time. My kids are 4 and under, so it's still a bit advanced for them. Probably better for maybe 6yo and older, but my husband and I have had a lot of fun playing it.
It has a lovely sound. It's a bit of a brain bender working out different melodies if you're not familiar with the instrument. The principle is similar to a harmonica.
I have only two complaints:
One is that one of the screws for the right hand thumb strap keeps coming loose. I mean we've only had it a month... but we have also played it a lot. Maybe it's just designed for smaller hands.
The other complaint is that I wish it had a longer duration when you squeeze it back together. It's impossible to give a nice strong ending to a song when there's no air capacity left push through. Maybe I'm being a bit critical with a kids toy.
Overall a great value for the price. A good starter instrument.

I bought this for my 3 year old nephew and my 5 year old nephew quickly swooped in to enjoy the fun with this accordian! They both loved it so much. Sound quality is great, easy to play and even made it to a family reunion this past weekend where the adults enjoyed the campfire tunes as well!

I bought this as a gift for my 12 year old who has wanted an accordion. I didnt want to spend a ton of money as I was not sure he would actually use it. This is a great instrument and the sound is wonderful. Great way to learn without investing hundreds of dollars. It’s sturdy and not cheap at all.

It's a very nice funny gift for anyone for any age. When stretching the accordion it makes a plastic sound which sounds a bit cheap. The sound itself is very cool sounding. For someone who doesn't know how to play the accordion this was a nice start to my learning curve. I hope to see bigger sizes from this company with more of a budget.

5.0 out of 5 stars Akkordeon
Reviewed in Germany on January 20, 2022
Color: WhiteVerified Purchase
