    Crying during or shortly after swaddling is not a sign that your baby does not like to be swaddled. They leave the confinement of the womb to a world of wide open space, and need time to adjust to the concept of space. Swaddling helps them to feel more relaxed, secure and in control of their rigorous involuntary movements.

    My baby has a really chunky neck. Can I customize the Woombie neck width?

    Absolutely. Unzip the top zipper 1 inch so the puller rests at the base of the chin flap. This opens the “neck hole” 2 inches.

This is THE BEST way to swaddle! Our baby would wiggle his way out of even the tightest blanket swaddles. We started using two blankets, but that kept him totally restricted. This is great because it keeps his hands from waking himself up, but it is loose enough that he can still move around inside the sack, which he loves to do. At six months we still use this almost every night. This is a must have if you plan to swaddle!
