I live in this bra (and the 2nd one I got in a different color). The cups are shaped, and hold up well to being smooshed and washed (ON DELICATE). I love that this bra is actually attractive. I feel good about myself when I wear it - unlike other nursing bras. At first, the lace was a little itchy, but after a few washes, it softened. The back sits perfectly, nice and low below my shoulder blades, and I don't feel it weighing down on my shoulders at all. The little circles in the center are meant to convert the snaps after you're done nursing into a permanent option, but for a 32 DDDD, the straps are too wide for the size of the rings, but it's a good idea.

I really wanted to like this bra as it looked so pretty and yet practical for wearing under clothes. The flexi-wire was also appealing as I have had chronic inflammation in my chest wall and underwires can really be uncomfortable. However, I could not get this to fit. I tried two different sizes, but the flexi-wires were too weak/flexible and wouldn't sit flat against my ribs (between my breasts) so no matter how small the cup was, it gapped. I was also disappointed in the quality of the materials for the price. I feel like when you're nursing, you have to have the softest, most comfortable fabrics in your bra, and I expected that sort of luxe feel in a bra at this price point. But it just didn't deliver. Sad to return and continue in my search for the perfect supportive, pretty, comfortable/soft, nursing bra.

This is a nice nursing bra. It is very supportive and holds the girls in without being so high you can only wear it under a turtle neck. It also brings the ladies more forward than a lot of other nursing bras I've tried so that is nice as well. Honestly, when you get the right fit this is the perfect nursing bra. You can nurse while still feeling like a normal woman with a nice bra, instead of a super matronly bra. The key is getting the right fit.

First off, do not follow their size chart. Go with your under bust measurement as your band and for every inch difference between that and the fullest part of your bust is a cup (1in A, 2in B, ect) and work from there. So for me, under bust is 32 and bust is 41 making me a 32H or 32I. Their size chart puts me in 34F, I didn't order that size because I know a 34 band would be too big. I ordered a 32G (kinda split the difference in cup size). I ordered it in black and two more in the nude color. The black arrived first and fit beautifully, band was snug on largest hooks, center gore was flat against my chest, ladies were supported without spilling out. Perfect. So when the nude ones arrived I went ahead and cut the tags off right away and wore one. Unfortunately the nude ones are much smaller in the cups and my girls spill over. I thought maybe it was just a boost in my supply kind of issue but no, the black fit perfect and the nude were smaller.

Honestly, I would love to be able to give this bra 5 stars and I would without hesitation if the sizing was consistent. But there is no reason the same bra, same style, same brand, same size, should fit different in different colors. This bra is still worth ordering but try each one on before cutting tags.

Let me start off by saying that I am very picky when it comes to the feeling and look of clothing. That, and I rarely (if ever) write reviews. But after months of trying to shop for a nursing bra with the right look and fit, I just had to write a glowing review for this bra. It fits perfectly, with the possibility of adjusting the size (which will help me once I start nursing! I'm due in a week and a half), and looks sexy. It is so rare to find a nursing bra that is not only functional and practical, but still makes you feel sexy. I mean, why not? Moms, especially nursing moms should feel sexy still. I can't wait to try different bras from the same brand in the future, now that I know I like them. Only con is the price, but in my opinion, it is worth it as you will be using this bra frequently, depending on how long you plan to nurse.

Bella Materna formerly made in USA was my favorite nursing bra with our first child due to the comfy, attractive fit and luxurious feeling fabric quality. This newer style manufactured in China has stiffer cups that are harder to fold down, the fit of the cup shape is awkward, the band under the back of armpit is higer pushing baby weight in an unflattering manner, and the feel of the fabric is no longer Luxurious. The elastic around the base of the band also seems to be of diminished quality. I still have my older version 6 years later (it's a size too small now) yet the fabric still feels silky. The current version is no longer worth more than half of its sixty dollar price for the comfort or quality. I had hoped to keep all 3 ordered and be set for the next year+ of nursing, instead I will keep only one and look at Target as others have suggested.

I love this bar! I've been breastfeeding off and on for 3 1/2 years and this is by far the best nursing bra I have owned. This bra is comfortable enough to wear all day. I have yet to find anything it doesn't look good under. The little lace detail is nice and makes it look a little nicer. I haven't found a lot of nursing bras in my size that fit this comfortably and look cute too. I am definitely purchasing it again in black.

The material is just so cheap feeling, the cups creased, did not hug my body, the straps were not comfortable either.
Sent this back, and went to buy one of the Target bras instead.... the search for a quality nursing bra continues.

One of my favorite bras, not just maternity, that I have ever purchased. I have 6 other maternity bras and I wear this one almost every day, I've put it in the washing machine several times now and it has held up nicely (other bras not so much). I'm rather narrow (5'3 and 115lbs) and this is one of the only nude bras I could find that came in a 32D that fit comfortably and looked good under my clothes. Also you can undo the snaps with one hand and also fit in nursing pads without it looking bad.
