Steadyrack Wall Guide - Staggered

Save Wall Space - Staggered

Limited wall space? You can stagger the racks to overlap your bikes, with Steadyracks placed as close as 350mm (1ft 2in) apart. For mountain bikes or other wider handlebar bikes, racks should be placed 406mm (1ft 4in) apart. Great for apartments and small sheds.

Steadyrack Wall Guide - Level

Maximize Floor Space - Level

Maximize your floor space by hanging your racks at the same height and further apart. A minimum of 600mm (2ft) gap between the Steadyracks will allow for the optimum pivot range. For mountain bikes or other wider handlebar bikes, racks should be placed 813mm (2ft 6in) apart. Great for garages.

Steadyrack is a sturdy rack

Steadyrack is a sturdy rack
Solid product that stores my fat tire ebikes. Installation was pretty simple and straight forward. It has you place the rear tire against the wall and then have the rack sit on the floor where you mark the hole for the top stud then measure from that point to the wall. Take that measure onto the wall and there you have it. Although you may want to add an inch or two. My ebikes only have 20" tires so it sat exactly on the ground as the tire couldn't sit on the whole swing arm. So I had to reinstall a little higher so the tires weren't touching the ground. My ebikes weight about 73 lbs. so this rack seems to be pretty heavy duty. Only time will tell.A cool feature of this rack is being able to rotate the rack almost 180° to make more room. Really works good and makes more space for my car to fit. I'd recommend this rack if you don't want to hang it from the ceiling but need room in your garage.Only reason for not getting 5 stars, besides cost, is that my ebike has fat tires AND fenders. The fender bike rack won't accommodate fat tires. So I had to undo my fender but the tire still sits on the fender a bit. Doesn't look like it's going to crack, but it would have been ideal if there was a fat tire AND fender option.Overall, I'm really happy about my purchase and the product looks sturdy and will keep my ebikes stored away to make room for my cars.

I bought a Fat rack and a Classic rack through Amazon Warehouse. One of the racks shipped without the mounting hardware but I had similar bolts on hand and used those. I contacted the manufacturer via their website and they said they would ship out the hardware to me asap.
These racks are fantastic. Loading the bikes into the racks is so easy, and it keeps the bikes out of the way. My fatbike is 30# with 3.8 width summer tires and the bike fits securely. I have 4.5 width winter studded tires that the rack would appear to take but I won't know for sure until I switch tires again.
Mounting the rack was fairly easy although I did watch a few YouTube videos first. The brace for the rear wheel is obviously too narrow for the tire to sit in, but it does hold the bike steady when you pivot the rack to the side.
I am now looking to buy the MTB version. The rack is expensive but if you can get it on sale it helps the emotional damage. Overall it's worth it.
Edited 12Jul21 - The 4.5" studded tires do fit - anything larger would not. Still very happy with the purchase

In the sea of products that fail to meet expectations, Steadyracks don’t disappoint. Their wall-mounting is rock solid, and every aspect of the product is built to last. The ability to rotate your bike left and right once hanging in the rack is a huge bonus, as well. I purchased two, one for my adventure bike and one for my fat bike. Each one fits its respective bike perfectly.

Overall, I'm happy with the general quality. However, the plastic pieces are a bit flimsy, so I'm taking the star off for that. In general, those pieces shouldn't be touched by anything, so I expect them to last.... but I don't have faith in them surviving being accidentally struck when putting bikes up. I'll say that the price is a bit higher than I would want to pay, but given that there isn't much that comes close to this great design, it was worth it for me, in the long run. Pretty easy to install, by the way, and these come with all the necessary hardware.

Easy to install. You should use studs OR stain and hang a piece of HD plywood to hang at your artistic desire. Each one took less than 15 minutes to install. Four lag bolts is all it took. I did use an included small screw to hang each bike rack to get them level prior to drilling the four holes for the lag bolts. I used an impact wrench and drove the bolts home quickly and effortlessly. The best part of these bike racks are the bikes stick out BUT THEN rotate right or left to conserve space. Each bike nests with the other, similar to clothes in a closet, but then expands to get one or more of the bikes down to ride. GREAT SPACE SAVING DESIGN!

Purchased four of these for our fat tire fat bikes. The second bike from the right had a 5” X 26” tire on it.
Initial thoughts.
1- Super easy to install. Find the studs in your wall, drill the holes, screw in lag bolts. Viola!
2 - The racks were sturdy and the bikes held up well and very easy to swing bike from side to side.
3 - the quality of the racks appears standard. One of the screws head was only partially threaded and so I’ll have to get a new one at the local HD
4 - 1 year warranty unless you register the product and then it is a 5 year
5 - also the recommendations for drill bit size was too big in my opinion. First lay bolt was a pretty loose insertion.

Overall this was a great way to clean up the garage and keep our bikes from dinging one another.

We bought these swivel hanging bike racks for our new fat tire bikes and they’re perfect! It was easy for me to take my bike down and put it back up on the rack and I’m a wimpy girl. My husband installed these quickly, found the studs, screwed them in and it was done. I like that they’re off the floor and you can swivel them left or right. I would definitely recommend this for your fat tire bike

Takes my 2 Cyrusher bikes which are both close to the max weight allowance and gives me a bit more space in the garage. Did have to remove the front mud guards on both bikes though. I can live with that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect solution for storing a fat bike

The media could not be loaded.
Rack was easy to install directly into a wall stud, so very stable to support my 35 lb. fat bike. Not sure if using plugs into drywall would be as secure, so didn’t want to risk it. The 4.8” fat tires fit nicely into the tray. As long as you are able to get the bike vertical on its rear wheel, operation to load and unload the bike is easy given that you don’t really need to lift the bike off the ground, just roll it onto and off the rack.
The swivel feature allowed me to load the bike and then fold it into a tight corner out of the way.
All heavy duty metal construction, so I expect it to be durable. The only plastic components are decorative non-functional face covers. Note it is not recommended for outside use as I assume it is not impervious to rusting.
Overall, a well thought out design that’s solidly built.
