The Classic Floor Drive 3.5 is an elegant, classically designed bicycle floor pump with a durable, CNC-machined aluminum base and a steel barrel and piston. Designed for high-pressure applications, it features a highly accurate oversized 3.5-inch gauge for increased precision. It also incorporates an extra long, high-strength hose with aluminum couplers terminated with our signature ABS-1 Pro chuck compatible with Presta/Schrader valve. All of this is topped off with a durable, premium paint finish and a varnished wood handle.

Easily achieve high pressures required in road bikes or other low-volume applications. A smaller-diameter pump barrel allows for high pressures to be achieved with minimal pumping force.

Product arrived to me with pressure gauge broken, and it looks like someone tried drilling a hole in the side of it. This was not done in the shipping process and was broken before it was shipped. I'm sure the company makes a great product. Because it seems well built other than the broken part that should have been seen by the seller or whoever packed it for shipping

Don’t press; just turn it on the valve stem for a perfectly secure seal. There is a puff of negligible quantity when unscrewing from the valve-probably decompressing air from the pump. The analog gauge measurement does not precisely match my digital pressure gauge-seems pretty common with these. Maybe it’s that are a few feet from the tire valve? Could be the digital gauge that’s off. The world may never know. But the absence of fuss and leaks is priceless. The pump is solidly built and the chuck is a nicely machined little gem.

I had to get to know this pump before passing judgement.
One comment I’ve read a lot here is that when you remove the chuck on a presta valve, it removes the valve core. Which is very annoying. I’ve found this to be true. However, there is a way around that:
First, make sure the valve core is on tight.
Second, when screwing in the bump head, it doesn’t need to be super tight. Just screw it in until you get a little resistance. Then stop. Once I stopped over tightening the pump head on my presta values, I no longer accidentally remove the valve core when removing the pump head.
Another annoyance is that, even though the gauge is big and easy to read, mine is about 8-10 pounds over actual. It seemed off so I bought a Topeak Smart D2 digital gauge. That seemed off too so I bought a Topeak TSGD2X and also a Jaco ElitePro digital gauge. I am finally convinced the pump gauge is WAY off! So, now I pump up a tire about 10-12 pounds past desired, then use the Jaco to dial down the pressure to exactly what I want. That's actually a good process to follow anyway so I'm not that bothered by it.
A final annoyance is that the screw on head doesn’t really work with non-threaded valve stems. I thought the screw went on the valve core threads. But I guess it uses the valve stem threads.
Despite those annoyances, I really like the pump. Super secure when on the valve stem with no leaks. The gauge is big and readable, despite being off.

My old floor pump had the lever-type attachment, where you push it down on the valve stem and simultaneously raise the lever to clamp it to the valve stem. This is not easy to do, and often it comes off the valve stem before you get your tire pumped up to your desired pressure. After many years of this nonsense, I decided to look for a better method. I searched around and discovered the Lezyne floor pump. It screws on EASILY with a stable, secure and defined connection. It STAYS ON!
The air hose is longer than my old one (which is a good thing), and significantly, it is very flexible, almost limp, which is also a good thing, because you can snake it around the spokes or other bike parts to get it easily to the valve stem.
Every so often you find a product designed so well you wonder why anyone would use anything else. That's how I feel about this pump. I think every bike owner should own one!
I saw two concerns about this pump cited by other reviewers, one, that the valve core can back out when you unscrew and detach from the valve stem. I have not had that problem. I wonder if that problem occurs if the user screws the attachment onto the valve stem too tightly when attaching. Another concern cited was this pump does not mechanically depress the valve core, but forces it open with air pressure when pumping. The concern was that would cause an inaccurate reading on the gauge. I haven't seen that either. I double check my pressure with a hand-held air gauge when I'm finished, and it's very accurate. I think the fact it uses air pressure during the downstroke to open the air core (rather than doing it mechanically) contributes greatly to its accuracy. When you detach with a lever-style, air leaks out for a few seconds from the tire until you get it fully disengaged and the valve core closes. With this pump, only a little air leaks out when unscrewing, and that air is coming from the hose, not the tire. The valve core is already closed when you disengage. The air you pump in stays in the tire.

My son already owns one so I knew what I was buying. I’ve had quick releases and found that they either start to fail or are sometimes awkward to fit between particular wheel spokes. I really love the all metal screw on head this one comes with. It fits both Schrader and Presta type tire valves. I use it for both my motorcycle and bicycle. The manufacturer’s website offers parts and rebuild kits. The pressure gauge is for rough measurements but is somewhat accurate at the 30- 60 psi range (I haven’t filled to any other pressures so I can’t say how good the other readings would be). Relatively expensive but I feel that this one could last a lifetime.

The pump is made of durable materials - metal and wood. Attaching the hose to the tire valve takes some getting used to and takes a bit longer to screw. I get my tires to 3 bar with 5-6 pumping actions and the big manometer is easy to read.

Arrivata puntualissima confezione perfetta con protezione di tutti i particolari della pompa e grande scatola; la pompa va benissimo già settata per valvola presta senza alcuna fatica ho gonfiato a 8 bar manometro molto grande con numeri visibilissimi , accoppiamento con valvola perfetto anche con stelo valvola liscio e’ sufficiente la piccola filettatura all’ estremità della valvola tenuta perfetta insomma il top , non acquisterò più pompe con la levetta di blocco e tenuta tramite guarnizione!!!lo consiglio servizio Amazon impeccabile come solito

Works well. I have used a couple of track pumps with lever based systems of locking to the tyres. I had no idea what the actual tyre pressures were. This takes a bit longer to use as you have to screw the thing in but I find the pressure easy to read and control.
