i'm having a similar problem, and the author doesn't really have clear troubleshooting instructions. it just will not run. a friend sent me a version of this, and i also tried downloading directly from here to ensure i had the latest. neither worked, and wouldn't even try to launch. i suspect it may have something to do with this being flagged as "potentially malicious", though, and given that huntmaster13270 has tried it without any security features i suspect there may be something else unmentioned we need in order for this to run.
that, or the author decided to go rogue, but since we can't see the code unless we know enough to reverse engineer it, we can't tell. apparently, anyone who can't reverse-engineer the code is also unworthy of seeing it, despite nexus flagging it as "potentially malicious". he(assuming it is a he) has also been deleting comments that point out a competitor who is open-source. take that as you will, but.... it's not really painting a good picture.
For anyone having this problem: Open the "downloads" window of your browser (ctrl+j in firefox) and make sure there's nothing about the download being blocked and needing you to allow it.
I followed the steps here as well, and can't get it to load at all. Sometimes, if I try to have it running before launching game, the game just exits from even loading.

I used this mod for a long time now, but recently i played the game as normal but the mod won´t launch. I reinstalled the game to get it back to normal, redownloaded the game, and tried again. It says it runs because i can´t delete the helloworld.exe file but it won´t show up as usually, and it doesn´t run in game. I can´t seem to find it in the taskbar either so i have to reset my PC to get it to close. What am i doing wrong here?. Hope someone can help a poor soul.
