1) Ph.D student position (R1) and Postdoc position (R2) in Genome integrity protection in mammalian oocytes and preimplantation embryos (Dr. David Drutovic, Laboratory of DNA integrity), keywords: chromosome segregation, spindle formation, oocyte/embryo development, live-cell imaging
2) Postdoc position (R2), RNA fate in the oocyte and embryo development (Dr. Andrej Susor, Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Germs Cells), keywords: RNA metabolism, oocyte/embryo development
Description of the job:

Requirements:
- The successful candidate should be highly motivated; display initiative and independence.
- Advanced knowledge and previous practical experience with molecular biology techniques and/or imaging
- Previous experience with oocyte microinjections and confocal and live-cell microscopy techniques is advantageous
- Good communication and time management skills are vital
- Ability to conduct research independently combined with a strong ability to work in a team
- High level of responsibility
- Capacity to develop new methods and adopt new techniques
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Conditions:
- The full-time position (40 hours weekly) will start at the earliest possible date and will be for a minimum of 12 months; extension is possible depending on the progress
- evaluation period of 3 months
- salary of 25.000 – 50.000 CZK per month (depending on work experience, quality of work, and evaluation)
