Love this resource pack so far but noticed a little thing that bugs me a lot: acacia and dark oak planks don't connect to other types of planks (http://i.imgur.com/fbcVjhL.png) like they do in the default textures (http://i.imgur.com/bL8hiZq.png) so it would be nice if you could fix them.
Those are WAY better, by chance did you change the armour icons as well as I believe those are in need of improvement as well.
Yes, I did. They didn't change much though. It is hard because no matter how I make them Minecraft scales the icons down to a certain size (27*27 for normal sized GUI IIRC.) The only real way to make them look better would be to make them that size.
I always use this pack, it's amazing. But I have one problem: The glowstone tiles slightly worse than Faithful 64x(the base) from up/down. Can you fix?
CTM update should be coming the week of June 30. He said he'd update once every other week. The gray glass not connecting isn't a bug, just that it's not in that add-on yet.
I just recently downloaded this pack and I love it. I just have a few things to report (using just Minecraft HD(x64) v18.1.5.zip):
- The crafting table looks weird in the Achievements screen. I don't know if you can do anything about it, it looks like Minecraft is loading the model incorrectly.
- The crafting table has a hole in its bottom, and some z-fighting on the opposite side. It just looks like you've misplaced the bottom panel of the model one pixel (64x pixel) too far north.
- It looks like the textures for acacia and dark oak planks are one pixel (64x pixel) shifted northward (when viewed from the top) than the other planks.
- Acacia doors. Half of their models have the handle on the wrong side. Below is the best of a list I could do. If you invert [open], the handle jumps to the correct side.
- [facing:north,hinge:right,open:false]
- [facing:north,hinge:left,open:true]
- [facing:east,hinge:right,open:false]
- [facing:east,hinge:left,open:true]
- [facing:south,hinge:right,open:false]
- [facing:south,hinge:left,open:true]
- [facing:west,hinge:right,open:false]
- [facing:west,hinge:left,open:true]
- Looking at this again: it looks like acacia doors with [hinge:right, open:false] or [hinge:left, open:true] have the handle on the incorrect side.
I would like to repeat though, your textures and models are gorgeous. I thank you incredibly for making this pack.
I was going through fixing some of the errors I spotted. Here's how I fixed them, so that you can more easily:
I downloaded opl's model creator to work on the models and set the grid size to 0.25 (i.e. one 64x pixel).
Acacia doors: It's as simple as acacia_door_top_rh is the exact same as acacia_door_top, rather than having the hinge on the other side (as for the other hinged doors). I moved the hinges to the other side and the door was fixed. Well, no, it wasn't that simple because I had to then fix the UV mapping on both acacia_door_top files.
Crafting table: I went to the bottom face and moved the bottom face over one snap. Realizing the texture was off, I opened up the UV mapping and checked the box, therefore lining the textures up again.
Acacia/Dark Oak planks: As simple as opening the files in Paint.NET and shifting them down one pixel (and taking the bottom row to the top).
While I was doing that I went ahead and disabled the slab_brick json models as well, as it was weird to have the full blocks flat and the slabs not.
Well, this place seems to have died in recent times........ I do have one question though. According to HITeeN's Faithful64 forum, he should be back by the end of summer 2015, which is about... now. You said in previous posts that HITeeN won't be updating his resource pack any more. Did you mean that he wouldn't be updating because he is in the army, or is he not going to update it any more period?

We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile.
Also, I found an issue with this texture pack. The wool is still the same wool from the old 16x16 textures. I'm not sure if that is on purpose or not, but I don't like it. Otherwise, great RP.

Can you add the clear glass ctm? the ordinary glass without the diagonal thing... but ctm?
After I complete the CTM glass, I probably won't do any more CTM for a while.

Can I use some of the textures in a minecraft map, if I credit you?
Check out Crowdford here.
Nothing is bundled with the game, and you don't need Optifine.

Hey, I was wondering if you might want to use my wooden plank textures.
Earlier in the comments, Shadowtime says he will not use community textures in his own pack, maybe in a custom pack.

Its hard to believe how much people don't get this...

I hope this helps someone out.
