I really want to have this for 1.8 , but I understand that the creator wants to wait. :smile.gif:
Does anyone in this entire forum ever read the OP for info or at least read a few post on older pages?! He has no choice but to wait since he coded the mod with MCP.
I don't know what sort of processes go on behind the scenes when you install OptiFine but I definitely think Mojang needs to at least put optimization into consideration before they release an update. 1.8.1 is unplayable in Single Player.
Yeah, why is it that Multiplayer isn't laggy for me, but single player is?
This is actually really easy to answer with some common sense. On a SMP server, the server is doing all of the land generation and rendering for you. In SSP, your PC is doing all of the work. Thus, you have lag on medium to lower end machine, or on machines that are not optimized well.

I dunno about that. I get bad lag on SSP, but on SMP not so bad. But on SMP, I'M running the server. But SMP is still much better than SSP.
My theories for this was that my SSP world is really, really big. 147 MB. Not sure though.
Could you PLEASE update this for 1.8.1, My computer is a 2007 with a crappy video card, without this mod I usually get about 8 FPS, but with it I get about 27 FPS, Minecraft is basically un-playable for me without this mod. Thanks
I'm wondering on what pc's they test it that they seem to think it runs fine. Why do so many suffer under the bad chunk handling but they don't?
To be honest, I'm shocked by how many people have performance issues with Minecraft. What kind of systems do people run where they only get 20 fps?!
As for the update. spx already said he was 2000km away from his PC. And he needs MCP. I wish the mods would start banning people for asking stupid questions and spamming the same thing over and over.
It will be updated once MCP is updated. Come on! It's even at the top of the Original Post!
When are you going to learn to read ??

"Wait... is this a hole? It looks like a hole...When did this hole get here?" The greatest thing I've muttered while playing minecraft.

Its not fake but still alot of code is still obfuscated which makes it kind of useless since MCP purpose is to unobfuscate.
Stop spamming the comments.

Yeah probably.
Thanks
Yes, it's just going to take a little while tho. :s
MCP is at 1.8.1, just waiting on an update for this now...

That's not the MCP the OP needs. Its' the Minecraft Coder Pack, not MCPatcher. http://mcp.ocean-labs.de/index.php/Main_Page
