Queer Writers Workshop

Come out for the first Queer Writers Workship, July 17th at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center 6:30-8:30pm.

If you want to improve your writing, meet other LGBTQ+ folks who like to write, then you should join us.

The workshop will utilize prompts to assist in writing, fostering encouragement through positive feedback, and providing a platform to share your writing with others.

All writing levels are welcome! The group aims to be low-key. Each session will feature several prompts with 10-minute breaks for writing, and then the group will begin sharing.

6:30pm: Get to know each other

6:45 pm: start first prompt

7:00pm: those who are brave enough and want to, share story

7:20pm: start final prompt

7:40pm: sharing round two

8pm: End

The Center is located at 1561 Bedford Ave in Crown Heights in the basement level.
